Brenneriveien is a collective of freelance illustrators and designers working from a small studio located in the heart of Oslo by the Akerselven river, neighbouring the nightclubs Blå and Ingensteds.

The artworks on this site are by current and former artists of the collective. Several of the illustrators are represented by the agency byHands and each creative has a style of their own. Here you will find a large selection of affordable prints, posters and wall art from underground creatives and more established artists, designers and illustrators.

The serigraphs (screen prints, silk screens) for sale have been hand-printed in limited editions by the artists themselves at both Fellesverkstedet and Blank Space in Oslo.

A selection of risograph prints have been printed in-house on our Duplo and Risograph printers at Brenneriveien. They have a maximum size of 30×40cm and are signed limited edition prints. These posters are printed on a type of copy machine from the ‘70s that prints one colour at a time. The colours are printed in separate colour layers, and have a nice texture, but are sensitive to friction and should be framed.

There are also digital prints available in limited runs. These are high quality giclée prints on heavy art paper in a variety of formats. Some posters may vary slightly in print to the screen version on this site. All posters delivered without frame.

This spring the collective will be a part of the KUMA market ( in Brenneriveien, open on Sundays from 12–5pm. Also, regular sales and exhibitions are held at the studio throughout the year.
